The version in experimental is broken for me:
$ sbuild -d unstable hello_2.10-1.dsc
Can't locate Sbuild/ChrootInfoUchroot.pm in @INC (you may need to install the
Sbuild::ChrootInfoUchroot module) (@INC contains: /etc/perl

$ dpkg-query -W libsbuild-perl sbuild
libsbuild-perl  0.67.0-2.0~exp1
sbuild  0.67.0-2.0~exp1

The build log shows the new module do not end up in the .deb:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=sbuild&arch=all&ver=0.67.0-2.0~exp1&stamp=1451470893

And your patch effectively does not modify any .am file to record the new
files...

I'm in no hurry to have this bug fixed... do as you want.
