Package: dpkg Version: 1.18.4 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
Consider the following error message: $ dpkg-deb -z foo dpkg-deb: error: invalid integer for --(null): 'foo' Type dpkg-deb --help for help about manipulating *.deb files; Type dpkg --help for help about installing and deinstalling packages. The error message shouldn't be saying "--(null)", first of all because there's no such option, and second of all because passing a NULL pointer to the %s formatter of printf(3) is undefined behaviour.
