Not the latest. Any version since 2.0 will do.

And if you look at the github.com address I actually started work at packaging
2.1.

I didn´t tell anyone much about it as I did not finish it yet – wanted to talk
with Marc on Debconf, but didn´t come around to it. Currently the build
package does not contain a binary of atop as the upstream author changed the
make file. "make install" does not install a binary file, instead one has to
decide between sysv init or systemd install. There is a genericinstall target
that doesn´t install any sysv or systemd configuration file which I intend to
use instead, cause I think I want to install my own versions of systemd and
sysv stuff. Of course I would also update packaging to latest 2.2.

I did not talk with Marc, the maintainer of atop, yet. And I do have holidays.

I currently have no intention to work on this before January 15th. And as any
"is needed" does not automatically make it happen when it comes to Debian
packaging work, I´d suggest feel free to offer help if you want to see faster
progress. Otherwise it is rather easy to compile both atop and netatop for
yourself for the time and have some more patience for updated packages to be
done by me, Marc, whomever.

Have a merry christmas,
