Package: www.debian.org Severity: normal Dear Planet Maintainers,
Thanks for working in planet.debian.org and its underlying software. When I try to see the OPML feed, I got an error: [Iceweasel] (I get the error in Spanish, translation is mine) ----- http://planet.debian.org/opml.xml XML Read error: malformed Location: http://planet.debian.org/opml.xml Line number 41, column 171: <outline type="rss" text="Antonio Terceiro" xmlUrl="http://softwarelivre.org/profile/terceiro/tags/english/feed" title="Conteúdo de Antonio Terceiro marcado com a tag "english"" /> ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------^ ----- [Chromium] (error in English original) ----- This page contains the following errors: error on line 41 at column 83: attributes construct error Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error. Planet Debian Thu, 17 Dec 2015 23:01:57 +0000 Debian Planet Maintainers pla...@debian.org ----- I think the problem is, as Iceweasel error shows, that the " chars in one feed title are not escaped. I'm not sure if this is a bug in the venus software or something particular in planet.debian.org. I saw that the config file has only the URLs of the corresponding feeds, so I suppose the title field is retrieved in runtime from each blog. Thanks Iain R. Learmonth for noticing this and reporting in #debian-www IRC channel.
