Unfortunately I can't reproduce the gnome-shell crash so I can't reproduce the bug using the test program. I ran the test program and attached/detached my external monitor but didn't get any crash. If this bug isn't useful, perhaps it should be closed? -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
