Hello! It seems (atleast) Fedora also links open -> openvt, see: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/kbd.git/tree/kbd.spec?id=d6e2ea33#n129
I think it would be a good idea to coordinate with other distributions to also get rid of the link at roughly the same time if we're going to do this. Regards, Andreas Henriksson
