Thanks for your bug report! Adjtimex loads the param on every starting up because you choose to when you installed adjtimex package, when in debconf stage. You can change this behavior by command: - dpkg-reconfigure adjtimex and answer "No" to the first question. Please feedback if you meet more trouble. Thank you! Cheers, Roger
