Package: wireshark Version: 2.0.0+g9a73b82-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
to reproduce the bug 1. run wireshark, 2. select menu "Help->About", 3. switch to "License" tab. 4. There is no license If wireshark is run from terminal. It's possible to see error message about that problem: "QIODevice::read (QFile, "/usr/share/wireshark/COPYING"): device not open" I expect to see the license there. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages wireshark depends on: ii wireshark-qt 2.0.0+g9a73b82-1 wireshark recommends no packages. wireshark suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
