The rmatrix/r-cran-matrix package uses a convenience copy of several SuiteSparse libraries (AMD, CHOLMOD, COLAMD, SuiteSparse_config). Per Debian Policy §4.13, such convenience copies should not be used, and packaged libraries should be preferred (except where impossible). In the present case, the src:suitesparse package already provides the 4 aforementioned libraries. It should therefore be used in place of the convenience copies (unless I'm missing something that makes it impossible). Cheers, -- .''`.
