Package: aptitude Version: 0.4.1-1 Severity: normal
I wanted to add all available Debian distributions (from woody to experimental), etc.. but aptitude fails with E: Dynamic MMap run out of room E: Error occured while processing python2.1-tk (NewVersion1) ..... Problem was resoved after removing woody from source list. I have over 1GB on this machine hence I'm puzzled about the "out of memory" problem. - Adam -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages aptitude depends on: ii apt [libapt-pkg-libc6.3-6-3.1 0.6.43 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii libc6 2.3.5-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-5 GCC support library ii libncursesw5 5.5-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.0.16-2 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages aptitude recommends: pn aptitude-doc-en | aptitude-do <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
