Package: imagemagick Version: 8:6.8.9.9-5 Severity: wishlist Hi,
ImageMagick supports WebP, and GraphicsMagick in Debian supports it now (since #789745). Would you please consider enabling it in the Debian package? I know there were worries about security in the past, but as far as I know, it has been extensively fuzzed upstream and thus should not be a large risk. (I'm reporting from stable, but of course the bug report applies to unstable as well.) -- Package-specific info: ImageMagick program version --------------------------- animate: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org compare: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org convert: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org composite: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org conjure: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org display: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org identify: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org import: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org mogrify: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org montage: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org stream: ImageMagick 6.8.9-9 Q16 x86_64 2015-01-05 http://www.imagemagick.org -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (750, 'stable'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.3.0 (SMP w/40 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages imagemagick depends on: ii imagemagick-6.q16 8:6.8.9.9-5 imagemagick recommends no packages. imagemagick suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed
