Package: gscan2pdf Version: 1.3.5-1 Severity: normal For a while now — I am sorry, I don't know when it started — gscan2pdf won't let me e-mail scans to people anymore. I am told it cannot identify the desktop environment and hence doesn't know how what mail client I use.
Well, I use no desktop environment (the computer is part of my desktop, haha), and I understand that it's hard then for gscan2pdf to figure it out. I thought there was a sensible-mua script somewhere, but I can't find it. Meanwhile, maybe this could be made configurable? -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_NZ, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gscan2pdf depends on: ii imagemagick 8:6.8.9.9-6 ii libconfig-general-perl 2.60-1 ii libfilesys-df-perl 0.92-5+b1 ii libgoo-canvas-perl 0.06-2+b1 ii libgtk2-ex-simple-list-perl 0.50-2 ii libgtk2-imageview-perl 0.05-2+b1 ii libhtml-parser-perl 3.71-2 ii libimage-magick-perl 8:6.8.9.9-6 ii liblist-moreutils-perl 0.413-1 ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.07-1 ii liblog-log4perl-perl 1.44-1 ii libossp-uuid-perl [libdata-uuid-perl] 1.6.2-1.5+b1 ii libpdf-api2-perl 2.023-1 ii libproc-processtable-perl 0.53-1 ii libreadonly-perl 2.000-2 ii librsvg2-common 2.40.11-2 ii libsane-perl 0.05-2+b2 ii libset-intspan-perl 1.19-1 ii libtiff-tools 4.0.5-1 ii libtry-tiny-perl 0.22-1 ii sane-utils 1.0.25+git20150927-1 Versions of packages gscan2pdf recommends: ii djvulibre-bin 3.5.27.1-5 ii gocr 0.49-2 pn libgtk2-ex-podviewer-perl <none> ii sane 1.0.14-11 ii tesseract-ocr 3.04.00-5+b1 ii unpaper 6.1-1 ii xdg-utils 1.1.1-1 gscan2pdf suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- .''`. martin f. krafft <madduck@d.o> @martinkrafft : :' : proud Debian developer `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
