Hi, I would like to add that I have experienced this when renaming single files.
Mostly when copying the file name part from to replace the file name part of a file with different extension. For instance, when copying the file name part "graph.pdf" to rename "grap.pdf" into "graph. When launched from the terminal, sometimes it displays a segfault-related message, sometimes it doesn't. It's very difficult to reproduce this. But if the backtrace provided by Arron is not enough, I'll try to contribute with something.
