Package: coreutils Version: 8.23-4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I entered "info ls" at a command prompt, and the output contained the character "latin small letter a with circumflex" (U+00E2) wherever it should have contained "single quote". All commands in the coreutils set are affected. Commands not in the coreutils set are unaffected. I'm using KDE 4.14.2. konsole 2.14.2 with font dejavue sans mono. I have rated it as "normal severity", because the document is difficult to read. Otherwise, I would rate it "minor severity". I now use "man" instead of "info" for coreutils commands. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages coreutils depends on: ii libacl1 2.2.52-2 ii libattr1 1:2.4.47-2 ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u1 ii libselinux1 2.3-2 coreutils recommends no packages. coreutils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
