Package: avahi-daemon Version: 0.6.32~rc+dfsg-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
after avahi-daemon in the previous version filled up daemon and syslog log- files up to sizes of more than a GB in a few days of seldom computer use, the update finally stopped polluting daemon log without fixing the syslog bug. So now avahi-daemon is still polluting syslog: "avahi-daemon[3966]: Invalid response packet from host 10.18.x.y." The only difference to daemon log was the number in brackets which was [1212] before. The IPs shown always start with "10.18." or "fe80::" This is actually a security risk to my data and causing much workload taking care of deleting the continuously growing log files. Otherwise many programs refuses to work and I can't save my work anymore as there is no space left on my system partition. Due to the additional workload which I can't afford to loose the time for this bug makes my whole system useless so I would ask you to raise this bug to critical.
