Package: kernel-package Version: 10.030 Severity: minor
Building the kernel via make-kpkg build && fakeroot make-kpkg kernel-image doesn't set LINUX_COMPILE_BY "$user" as in versions 9.*. Building as supposed in the README via make-kpkg build && fakeroot make -f debian/rules stamp-kernel-image removes customized version out of debian/changelog and ignores them. I cannot verify on which version this behavior first occurs. My version and maintainer params set in /etc/kernel-pkg.conf.
