Often when things don't load with apt-get upgrade you have to use
apt-get -f upgrade or --fix-missing.  The problem is, when you try to
upgrade something with synaptic, and it doesn't work, you often have to
go to the terminal to fix it.  If a user isn't familar with -f or
--fix-missing commands he might be lost how to fix his problems.  For
such users synaptic doesn't work for what they need.  They need a way to
have a screen to pop up and tell them what to do from synaptic, thus
synaptic needs to come with the ability to execute such commands.

Maybe this is a "Wishlist" item but for some they can't use synaptic to
upgrade.
