Package: xmlsec1 Version: 1.2.18-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
xmlsec1 when run in debian 7.9 64bit, crashes with a Segfault (also ubuntu 14.04 64 bit). The package works fine in debian 7.9 32bit, and debian 8.2 64 bit. The command that was returning the Segmentation Fault: xmlsec1 --decrypt --privkey-pem <private.key> --id-attr:ID EncryptedKey --trusted-pem <cert.crt> --output <output.xml> <input.xml> The entry in dmesg looks like this: [10277967.557134] xmlsec1[12932]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f10748ee801 sp 00007ffec04cf2c0 error 4 in libcrypto.so.1.0.0[7f107480b000+1ca000] Let me know if there's anything additional I can provide. I've solved my issue by backporting the packages from jessie (8.2). I'm not sure what caused this, but I thought I had gotten it to work once earlier. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.9 APT prefers oldstable-updates APT policy: (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xmlsec1 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u8 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1e-2+deb7u17 ii libxml2 2.8.0+dfsg1-7+wheezy4 ii libxmlsec1 1.2.18-2 ii libxmlsec1-openssl 1.2.18-2 ii libxslt1.1 1.1.26-14.1 xmlsec1 recommends no packages. xmlsec1 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
