Thanks for the patch! Upstream is at https://github.com/mmitch/reniced I've already included your patch there. Releasing a new version of reniced should be fast, but I don't know when I will be able to build a new Debian package from that. I'll need to look for a sponsor and the package propably needs all kinds of fixes, as the last packaging is from 2010 (policy version 3.9.1).
