python-repoze.what-plugins is depended on, but upstream stopped recommending its use after TurboGears2 version 2.2 was released, as evidenced here: http://turbogears.readthedocs.org/en/latest/cookbook/upgrading.html#new-authentication-layer That release was made in August of 2012, and an entire stable release of Debian has been developed and released since then, so users have had plenty of time to migrate to other options. The dependency should be dropped, so that python-repoze.what-plugins can be removed from the archive (as it is blocking pysaml2 from upgrading, due to its conflicting version requirements on python-repoze.who).
