Hello, There is Qt code in aptitude repository, but it's not been touched since July 2010: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=aptitude/aptitude.git;a=history;f=src/qt;h=e183f86aa6b56c24378e775fb4e2a5df36db495d;hb=ec234514bbf88e4800218fd39e3500024b424476 The status, according to: http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2010/09/msg00007.html === Aptitude Qt === by Piotr Galiszewski, mentored by Sune Vuorela Currently, development branches support full features searching, viewing extended package's informations, performing cache and packages operations. Code and GUI still require a lot of work which will be continued. Informations about further progress could be found on aptitude mailing list and repository rss channel. Since Daniel Burrows is not responding, it would be good to ask Sune Vuorela about this or search trough the mailing list. Nevertheless, if you still want to volunteer to work on a Qt front-end to aptitude it's a good time, since the development is resumed and there's people who can help you to get your way in.
The little support for this project is going to be disabled soon due to being obsolete and unmaintained, see: https://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/aptitude-devel/2015-November/005903.html Cheers. -- Manuel A. Fernandez Montecelo <manuel.montez...@gmail.com>
