Package: emacs-goodies-el Version: 35.12 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/emacs-goodies-el/df.el
For M-x df, if df-partition is set to a directory which is not a mount point, the mode does not show the free space, but only something like "1K/K" which is a 1K current buffer and no free space information. I struck this on the default df-partition "/home" since I don't have a separate /home partition. I found the 1K/K display confusing as I thought it meant 1K many 1Kbyte blocks free or something like that, until realizing it's buffer size first and free space was missing. When df.el runs "df /home" it gets an answer about "/". Maybe in df-filter don't match df-partition in the regexp, but trust df to answer for the df-partition directory even if it's not a mount point. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages emacs-goodies-el depends on: ii bash 4.3-14 ii dpkg 1.18.3 ii emacs 46.1 ii emacs23-lucid [emacsen] 23.4+1-4.1+b1 ii emacs24-lucid [emacsen] 24.5+1-3 ii install-info 6.0.0.dfsg.1-3 ii xemacs21-mule [emacsen] 21.4.22-14 Versions of packages emacs-goodies-el recommends: ii dict 1.12.1+dfsg-3 ii perl-doc 5.20.2-6 ii wget 1.16.3-3 emacs-goodies-el suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
