And the Debian package is already several upstream version behind,
so why wait another two months?
This is because ekiga is not yet ready to use newer version of ptlib and
opal. ptlib/opal often breaks API with each release, is not well tested
on linux platforms, and ekiga has not kept up with the changes.
Also, please make sure that all of this is actually fixed upstream,
as that doesn't appear to be the case.
I made a fast check, and I found one chunck of your patch not to be
inside, and about 4 chuncks inside. So in short I wrote "most if not
all your changes". I will do a full check upon uploading, anyway.
