I applied your patch with slight modifications, could you check again? I also added support for passing multiple PCI IDs on the command line, that simplifies testing (and revealed a bug, VERSIONS was not being reset). For the problematic case, let's wait for someone to complain and provide a patch, I'm not sure what would be the right recommendation in that case. Andreas
