Package: pppoeconf Version: 1.8 Followup-For: Bug #315884 I can reproduce this problem. The problem is about answering No to the first screen of pppoeconf. pppoeconf mentions it will run modconf. The problem is that pppoeconf expects modconf to be installed despite not depending on it. The effect is that No does nothing unless modconf is installed. pppoeconf will output something like /usr/sbin/pppoeconf: line 177: modconf: command not found on console each time No is chosen.
