Package: config-package-dev Version: 5.1.2 Severity: normal Hi. According to the dh_configpackage man page, the paths in debian/*.displace need not have a leading slash, just like other debhelper inputs. However, the code generates errors like the following if you leave out the leading slash. dpkg-divert: error: filename "etc/tomcat8/server.xml.psec-orig" is not absolute
I think the docs are correct and the code wrong; I don't expect to need the leading slash in debhelper input. So, I think the slash should be inserted for dpkg-divert. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (250, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- no debconf information
