Yes, right. You can schroot --begin-session ..., schroot --run-session to get a shell inside the chroot and verify that the directory is not mounted. I can reproduce this both on the i386/amd64 buildd and also on the ARM machine. I'm going to try reproducing it again on the test VMs tomorrow.
