Package: base Severity: important Tags: d-i Dear Maintainer, Within the first week of installing Debian "jessie" 8.2 20150908, I continually got warnings about low disk space in /var/cache/apt/archives/. Now 2x weeks after install I did an "apt-get update/upgrade & I got: "You don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/." Also the /tmp partition is too small as I often need lots of /tmp space when using the GIMP graphics program? I believe that the default partition spaces need to be revised in keeping with modern requirements & disk sizes? When I installed the system, I chose "LVM" as I understand that this will enable me to enlarge/change partition sizes without a complete reinstall? I have not yet found easily understandable information on doing this yet? Please advise a suitable website to follow the (simple!) instructions.Thank you.
