Hi Georges,
as far as I see right now the problem why the mediawiki2latex 7.21 does not work on build properly on powerpc and thus can not make it to testing is that we need to have overrides in the debian rules file. The proper rules file is included in the mediawiki2latex_7.20-1.1.debian.tar.xz . So could you please take that rules file and use it as new rules file for the new to be uploaded package mediawiki2latex_7.21-2 . We also should use this rules file for all further packages until ghc 7.10 is included in unstable and testing.
Yours Dirk

See the attached diff of the latest upload (filtered to only include
debian/) - all of my changes are gone and the package is back to how it
was before.

Hi Iain,
as I can see from mediawiki2latex_7.21-1.debian.tar.xz in sid the patches
still seem to be there. So I don't understand why your change did not make
it into 7.21.

Hi Iain,
since you resolved the issue in mediawiki2latex 7.20. Can you give me some
more info on how I can resolve the issue with mediawiki2latex 7.21 and ghc
7.8 on power pc. If it can be solved by changing the makefile, just send me
the new makefile and I will publish a new version of mediawiki2latex with
your makefile.

You reverted my change with the latest upload, so it is broken once
again. You should fetch the diff of my NMU and reapply it, and keep it
around until we have ghc 7.10 in unstable. There's no real need to fix
it outside of packaging, as we are working around a ghc bug here.
