Dear Maintainer, On first boot after install init hangs due to missing symlink [ 4.904755] systemd [1]: /etc/mtab is not a symlink or not pointing to /proc/self/mounts. This is not supported anymore. Please replace /etc/mtab with a symlink to /proc/self/mounts. [ 4.904755] systemd [1]: Freezing execution. Was able to get the system working by booting into rescue mode from the install CD, mounting the root partion, moving the current /etc/mtab to /etc/mtab.old and then making the symlink ln -s /proc/self/mounts /etc/mtab -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
