I can still confirm the bug, I am using gnome-shell version "3.14.4-1". Is
it fixed or the root cause found? if there is any other workaround to overcome
the issue plese let me know.
I couldn't find any specific pattern of this freezing issue. But, for me
freezing happened in the following situations/scenarios,
1. When the notification/dialogue boxes are opened
ex a) file properties dialgue
b) (file) save location selection dialogue opened
2. While browsing (randomly & some 50+ tabs opened in iceweasel)
3. While opening nautilus/gedit etc as root user
Almost all the freezing scenario the mouse pointer is moving but click function
not works.
On each freeze I do switch to tty1 and issuing "/etc/init.d/gdm3 restart".
