So I tried with adwaita, and here it works fine. My theme is usually Greybird, so GTK+ might /again/ have broken other them. Also, I tried to attach a backtrace (although it looks like the original reporter one), but browsing my filesystem led to a frozen UI, with syslog reporting about gvfs exploring the network for SMB shares (WTF?).
