@Trent: I have tried to create a Debian/Ubuntu PPA. My main idea has been to try to understand the difficulties, feed some patches back to upstream and perhaps provide a 0.9.3 package outside of the official distro channels.
If you are able to help, perhaps we could get this rolling. First of all, I need testing to be able advance this. Have you time and motivation? --alec
