I don't really get your use-case, maybe you can try to explain it a little more verbose? I'm also not sure if I understood what is the problem you are seeing. Here, I can specify "-u <value>" and evaluating the passed command line looks fine... Can you please elaborate (Otherwise, using eval really feels wrong to me.) -- tobi
