To be honest I don't like this patch, for a variety of reasons. Anyway, I'm trying to get it done here, locally in a separated branch.
Since quite a lot of time I've been using pbuilder with eatmydata, by adding eatydata to EXTRAPACKAGES and just prepending 'eatmydata' to the pbuilder calls. I don't like my current local config, because pbuilder does writing also on the host (e.g. logs, final packages, etc) I'd prefer those writing to not get "filtered" by eatmydata. Instead in the approach I'm taking now only calls inside the chroot will be effected by eatmydata (notabily, package installation and the build itself, which is by large the bigger amount of I/O done). I'll get back once I get something I like and works. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`. more about me: http://mapreri.org : :' : Launchpad user: https://launchpad.net/~mapreri `. `'` Debian QA page: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=mattia `-
