Disk space used for building of ITK 4.8 with only 2 and 3 dimensions to wrap:
chroot base system with all deps installed: 3.0GB Source code unpacked: ~1.0GB Build dir 36GB Debian dir 5.1GB Sum: 42GB Total: 45GB The now successful build in the log report 50.72 GB [1], which means we look at 5-6 GB difference. Also of interest: The difference between the stripped and unstripped python bindings *.so files is about 3.4GB (for 2;3 dims wrapped), I guess that a copy of this stripped info would add to the build process if debug packages are generated automatically.
