I have found something that may have caused the problem, but as I could not reproduce it I can't be sure. Would you mind doing me a favour and downloading a new version from here: http://www.stuart.id.au/russell/files/debian/sarge/conspy It has debugging turned on. Let me know if the problem is fixed or not.
