Basically, unless I can reproduce it, you need to track it down
yourself... Here are some ideas:

Create a new user (with an pristine home directory) and see if you can
reproduce it.

See if other plugins need to be enabled for it to happen.

I am also a bit surprised by the traceback: pidgin-blinklight does not
really need to interact with X11. The error seems to be related to
threading, which my plugin also does not do (I believe).
