Package: game-data-packager Version: 42 Severity: normal Hi Alexandre,
the video files for the quake2 data packages should be strictly optional. I have the game data installed on my system but without the videos. Nevertheless, I can play the games without any problems in yamagi-quake2. Only g-d-p complains that it could not package the data because the video files were missing. In fact, the game works without them and I am not going to add several hundret MB of data to my games directory in order to show videos that I need to click away at each game start anyway. ;) - Fabian -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'experimental'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.1.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages game-data-packager depends on: ii fakeroot 1.20.2-1 ii python3 3.4.3-4 ii python3-debian 0.1.27 ii python3-yaml 3.11-2 pn python3:any <none> game-data-packager recommends no packages.
