Hi, When starting Ginkgo CADx for the first time, I was shown the license of the program. On it, the following snippet is included: «This software musn't be sold without prior approval of the authors. (...) Ginkgo CADx is licensed under the LGPL v3 license. You can find the legal terms of the license at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/lgpl.html » You can also see this text by going to the Help > About > Licenses screen. I wonder if restricting selling to the approval of authors is valid for LGPL v3 licenses. I skimmed through the LGPL and GPL and couldn't find anywhere saying it is (nor that it isn't). However, this seems fishy. Anyway, who are the "authors"? The original authors of the program? The authors of any derived work? I suggest this should be cleared up by Debian with upstream.
