Most patches are actually backports of upstream commits anyway. Of the ones that aren't, those that were actually forwarded to Xiph.org are all included in 1.3.5. That leaves us with only two patches ("Fix build failure with DSO link changes." and "Avoid SIGFPE when bytespersample is zero") that have never been forwarded to upstream (probably because they were introduced by NMUs) and are therefore not included in 1.3.5. I can take care of forwarding them now.
I've started packaging 1.3.5 in the git branch "package-new-upstream-version".
