Package: xbindkeys Version: 1.8.6-1 Severity: important Hello,
xbindkeys does not seem to work with GTK 3.0 programs. I am using a
computer without Page Up/Down keys, so I have bindings to use
combinations Alt Gr + Up/Down as a replacement. This works perfectly on
GTK 2 programs, but not on GTK 3.
Here are my bindings:
# PageUp and PageDown are mapped as Alt Gr-UP and Alt Gr-DOWN
"xvkbd -xsendevent -text '\[Page_Down]'"
m:0x80 + c:116
Mod5 + Down
"xvkbd -xsendevent -text '\[Page_Up]'"
m:0x80 + c:111
Mod5 + Up
An easy way to test this is to install the Epiphany browser (which links
against GTK 3.0), and try to Page Up/Down some webpage.
I am reporting this bug against xbindkeys, but it may be a problem with
libgtk-3-0.
