Package: reportbug
Version: 3.18
Severity: normal

Greetings (and happy holidays)!

I'm afraid to report that reportbug stymied my initial attempt to
report bug #345393 against x-window-system-core by crashing upon
discovering that some of its dependencies (though not quite enough,
hence my report...) had developed alternatives:

} Getting status for x-window-system-core...
} x-window-system-core is a dependency package. Which of the following packages
is
} the bug in?
}
}  1 xserver-xorg          the X.Org X server
}  2 xlibmesa-dri          Mesa 3D graphics library modules [X.Org]
}  3 xlibmesa-gl           Mesa 3D graphics library [X.Org]
} Traceback (most recent call last):

}   File "/usr/share/reportbug/reportbug_ui_text.py", line 63, in
indent_wrap_text
}     text = ' '.join(text.split())
} AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'split'

[I ended up reporting the bug from a machine with an older Packages
file, with the help of the -V flag.]

Could you please take a look?

Thanks!
