Hi, This bug report (#724887) looks like a duplicate of #710587 (and #734334, submitted by Dan as well), so merging them. And with that, it will be closed (unless my BTS-knowledge does not avail me). It is fixed with apt-1.1 (still in experimental, I think), but it will eventually trickle down to your suite of choice and to unstable soon enough, no need to re-report it here. Actually, it is David Kalnischkies from apt is who made the crucial link from that bug report to its most likely cause. You can read the gory details in #710587 if you wish. Cheers. -- Manuel A.
