Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.14.1-1+deb8u1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? The latest Jessie maintenance updates introduced this new bug. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? gnome-terminal normally sets cwd to ~ (home directory). As of the last update, this is broken, instead the last directory I was in in another tab is re-used. Someone recommended putting `cd ~/` into `.bash_profile`, but this seems to be ignored by gnome-terminal. * What outcome did you expect instead? Opening a new tab or window should reset the cwd to home. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnome-terminal depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.22.0-1 ii gconf-service 3.2.6-3 ii gnome-terminal-data 3.14.1-1+deb8u1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.14.1-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.14.0-1 ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u1 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.14.0-2.1 ii libcairo2 1.14.0-2.1 ii libdconf1 0.22.0-1 ii libgconf-2-4 3.2.6-3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+deb8u2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.14.5-1+deb8u1 ii libnautilus-extension1a 3.14.1-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libuuid1 2.25.2-6 ii libvte-2.91-0 0.38.1-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-3 Versions of packages gnome-terminal recommends: ii dbus-x11 1.8.20-0+deb8u1 ii gvfs 1.22.2-1 ii yelp 3.14.1-1 gnome-terminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
