don't know, it doesn't install in a clean sid environment. maybe you want to deal with the module with some runtime build, like it is done with virtualbox-dkms package otherwise you need to force the module rebuild at each kernel update, right? I'm not sure kernel modules can be ship separately in a pre-built state (what happens if the user has a custom kernel?) cheers, G.
