Dear Maintainer, As I know that you are already aware of, openstreetmap-carto does not work together with mapnik 3.0 which has now replaced mapnik 2 in the archive. I am filing this bug to keep it recorded somewhere. I have also tried with version 2.34 of openstreetmap-carto which currently is in the Alioth git repo. It does not work either. I am working on making a native Debian package which will automatically setup and configure an OSM tile server. It does not work in sid because of this issue.
