My feeling is that this is the Debian Developper's responsability (aka, me) to act as an interface between the users and the upstream developers of the software. I'm very short on time right now with the new term beginning, but I'll deal with this issue. I already alerted the upstream authors on their IRC channel, but I will report this bug correctly very soon.
