Package: nginx-extras Version: 1.6.2-5 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I'm trying to manage nginx upgrades in a Docker container that uses runit instead of sysvinit. This requires that I manage starts/restarts differently. Via policy-rc.d, I can intercept actions invoked with invoke-rc.d, but the on-the-fly upgrade implementation in the current postinst script sends signals at running nginx processes without making use of the policy framework. There's an `upgrade` action in /etc/init.d/nginx that attempts to perform the same song and dance that the current postinst is doing. If the postinst used `invoke-rc.d upgrade`, then I could intercept it in my policy-rc.d script. Please consider using invoke-rc.d to trigger the upgrade.
