It is a bit weird. There used to be support in haskell-devscripts for removing that: - Remove LICENSE files installed by Cabal and empty documentation directories. (changelog entry from 2008, version 0.6.4), which should take care of it. But I don’t find any trace of it in the current code, nor anywhere where it was removed... Anyways, haskell-devscripts is the right place to fix this. Any volunteers?
